11:49 pm - une bonne nuit, vraiment (ou, un peu d'entretien d'oreiller ce matin)
She: In French, when you don't really want to see someone again but you want to make a polite exit, you say en s'appelle - see, the reflexive tense again? It means "we'll call", but the passiveness of it means you really won't.
Me: In my experience -
She: Oh yes, tell me about your experience!
Me: ... in my experience, une nuit seulement et en s'appelle never involves this much kissing in the morning.

There should be a single word for getting Stockholm Syndrome for the spider that spun the cobwebs...

For reference, it would have been funnier if you stuck to translating "entretien" as "biting", thereby accusing me of morning pillow-biting.

I expect better of you in the future, clmeb0t.

Ah crap. Etudiai? Is that like etudier? Perhaps a subjunctive tense? Subjunctive shit always threw me off. (I'm just making shit up now)

"But yes, surely. Thats very pretty, isn't it? But also, dont forget, I'm studying the french woman more before I study it."

Looking at that again, I fucked up the sentence structure pretty horribly. And shoulda been "francais", not "francaise".

"Yes, of course. That's beautiful, isn't it? But also, don't forget, I studied French before you studied it."

Well, chances are you were studying the french women before the rest of us did too.

I mean, heck... The current batch of high school French students were just being born when you were graduating weren't they? They're just now discovering the rumors of frenchwomen that dont shave their pits, nude beaches that said women are rumored to frequent, and exchange students that will let them continue to believe anything they want to as long as the teacher isn't listening in.

hmmmm

moi aussi j'ai passé une très belle soirée... merci de l'avoir partagé avec moi. Heureusement que notre relation est devenue plus qu'une relation fade de 'on s'appelle'.
