02:15 am - blast from the past
For those of you who haven't known me for 5 years or more, check out what I was up to in December of 2000... making The Tamarind Show.  Disgusting foreign candy, crappy webcams, and a Nascartographer 'stache - what's not to like?

Dude, I'm pretty sure you've known me for at least a couple years longer than that - the Tamarind Show was *very* late in the game, as far as Jimbo's World (much less WritingZ) went.

I was just thinking that, shit, it's been like almost 8 years. I know I started reading this stuff right about the time I got to college.

Heh, that Tamarind soda I had in Oklahoma was pretty vile. I can't imagine the pure, concentrated evil that is Tamarind paste.

And oh how I miss the 'stache. ;)

Dude. Memories. Did I ever tell you about the candy that my kids tried to get me to buy? It was from Shrek 2 or something, each one was in the shape of a different character, and when you twisted the botton candy came out of little holes in the top like hair (kinda like the play-doh barbershop I had in the 70s), the Shrek one was green, and tamarind flavored. I immediately thought of you.

Wow. The Tamarind Show happened right about the time I first became aware of JW, which was about the same time I bought my first computer. Still howl at the part with the sandwich.

"JESUS CHRIST!"
