No matter how well a first date is going, it will cast a notable pall on it at the end if her car got towed. And your chances of a goodnight kiss will be greatly diminished by the staring presence of a surly, leering, unshowered tow truck driver hanging around the impound parking lot where you took her to pick up her car.

Yes, I found this out the hard way. Last night. Sigh.

on a brighter note, we're going out again Saturday.

Bad way to end a first date but a great story to tell.

Speaking of Good Stories

Once my car got broken into and I got the phone number of the cop that took the report. 'Cause I was attracted to him? Eh, so-so - I just wanted to be able to say that I did! heh heh...

You know those signs that say "Clark's Beauty Salon Only - Towing 24 Hours" behind State Street pub? Yeah, they're not fucking kidding. 10:30 PM, those motherfuckers have been home for five and a half hours, and you'll STILL get towed.

I'm pretty sure the impound place just cruises by every now and then to see if they can get a big haul. Fuckers.

Ah, OK. I now know not to park there, I guess.

I'll never understand why businesses prohibit parking in their lots when they are closed, especially in areas where there is not many actual parking spaces in the first place. Ugh.

Like the guy that wants $5.00 for parking when you arrived there before they were collecting money? :)

After the place is closed is about the only time they can really be sure that the cars aren't from the Beauty salon without having the salon call them.
