In my early 20s I was with a girl who admitted that once she was on the fence about sleeping with a guy she'd been out with, but what pushed it over the line was that she had seen his bed, he had extremely nice high thread count sheets, and she wanted to see what lying on the sheets naked felt like.
That is a queen size bed. The room is roughly twice the width of a queen size bed wide by twice the length of a queen size bed long. Off frame to the left is the door into the master bath.
The room currently contains the bed, a low narrow coffee table running along the width of the bed behind it (which I use as an unobtrusive nightstand, has a boom box on it, alarm clock, etc), and a waist-height medium brown medium-ornate three-drawer chest of drawers against the right wall in the corner of the room behind the camera as I took that picture. There is also a bullshit little throwaway round table in the other corner behind the camera that I had in my kitchen VERY briefly before replacing it with the glass top table, but honestly it could live or die. Oh and there's a great big mess, also blissfully off camera. Hah.
I'm mostly thinking of accent touches. Or maybe just painting the walls a different color but leaving the windowframes white so that they become accent touches of a sort.
