The irony of having a really good Japanese accent...

... is saying "watashi wa gaijin dayo!" like a native.

On the other hand, real Japanese speakers understand me fine when I say "sore wa nan to iimasu ka?", I generally remember their answers when they do, and the Inakaya folks clearly enjoy my half-retarded enthusiasm. So it's all good / kara ii dayo. =)

(I also enjoy bellowing "damare!" and/or "urusse!" at the top of my lungs through the walls at my neighbors when they're fighting. It seems to confuse the shit out of them.)
